FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

+ What are the dates this year?

November 14th - 17th, 2019

+ What are the hours?

We are open daily from 11am - 9pm on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. On Sunday, we are open from 11am - 6pm.

+ What is the price for admission?

Admission is $15 + tax for adults. Children 12 years and younger are admitted free of charge when accompanied by an adult.

+ Where can I buy tickets?

NEW Tickets are available for purchase in advance online here. Skip the line and save some paper by presenting your pre-purchased event ticket on your mobile device.

Tickets will still be available for purchase at our ticket kiosk located at the front desk.

+ Will Santa be there?

Yes! Santa will be in the house on Thursday and Friday, between 3-5pm and on Saturday and Sunday from 12-3pm.

+ Are you wheelchair acceptable?

Regretfully, due to the heritage nature of the house, indoor wheelchair accessibility is limited. There is no wheelchair access to the third floor of the house, however our main floor, Ballroom and outdoor Courtyard is wheelchair accessible.

+ Is there a place for my stroller?

Yes, we are happy to supply stroller parking in a designated tented area within the Courtyard.

Please note, strollers are not permitted inside of the house.

+ Is there a coat check?

Yes, coat check (by donation) is available. It is located at the bottom of the ballroom stairs on the right-hand side (adjacent to the washrooms).

+ Where can I park?

There is street parking located around the Crescent. Please read all street signs as some areas do have restrictions. We are pleased to offer Valet Parking for $10.

+ Are pets allowed?

Sorry, no pets allowed. Service dogs are permitted.

+ Can I leave and re-enter?

Yes, we are pleased to offer free readmission on the same day of entry. Please be sure to get your hand stamped at the front gates before you exit.

+ Can I bring my own food and beverage?

Christmas at Hycroft vendors offer a variety of meal items to satisfy any palate (including gluten free and vegetarian!) , so we do not allow outside food and beverages (non-alcoholic and alcoholic) at the fair. However, water bottles are always welcome!

+ Will alcohol be available?

A selection of beer, wine and festive alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages be available in the courtyard and Speakeasy (located off the McRae Lounge on the Ballroom level)

+ Is smoking permitted?

No. Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the house or on the Hycroft grounds.

+ Do you have a lost & found?

If you have found an item please take this to the University Women’s Club Vancouver office located on the main floor inside Hycroft.

If you have lost an item please check with the University Women’s Club Vancouver office in person or by phone; 604-731-4661.
